Avalanche Causes Park Road Closures

MOOSE, Wy. (JAN. 2, 2019) – Attention to all visitors of Grand Teton National Park, the south entrances into the park have been closed off until further notice due to yesterday’s avalanche. The Teton Pass Highway and Moose Wilson Road have been iced over and will not be able to reopen until all ice has been cleared.

Grand Teton Half-Marathon and 5K

MOOSE, Wy. (May 1, 2019) — Grand Teton’s annual half-marathon and 5k is only one month away. Hosted by Vacation Races the race will bring participants through the beautiful nature of the Grand Tetons and the Jackson Hole Golf and Tennis Club. The 5K race will be held on Friday, May 31 at 7 p.m. and will cover 3 miles of the half-marathon course. The half-marathon will begin at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 1.

Wild & Scenic Raft Trips Are Back

MOOSE, Wy. (May 17, 2019)- The popular scenic raft tours have returned to Grand Teton with the close arrival of summer. On Monday, May 20, the Grand Teton Lodge Company will start offering their daily raft trips up until the end of October. These raft trips are the perfect summer activity for any age.
