Grand Teton National Park Interesting Facts

  • Grand Teton National Park is located in northwestern Wyoming.​

  • The park was originally established in 1929 to protect the Teton Range and surrounding lakes.​

  • It was not until 1950 that Congress allowed the expansion of Grand Teton National Park, re-establishing it as the park we know today.
